Burbank, CA, June 12, 2007 – Archion’s highly successful new Synergy HD&trade storage solution continues its successful and on-going prominence via a number of new sales deals. The joint announcement was made by Mark Bianchi, CEO and Reuben Lima, COO, Archion.
Archion has sold a Synergy HD&trade system to City Edit, Inc., based in Los Angeles. George Legaspi, partner of City Edit, said, “I purchased Archion to expand my Unity capability and to extend the life of my AVID hardware without costly upgrades. Synergy HD has been performing exceptionally well and it’s priced to sell.”
City Edit, Inc., was formed to meet the needs of post production professionals looking for a one stop post production solution. The company’s primary focus is providing Value Added sales of high-end solutions, from needs analysis to facilities design, integration, delivery and installation. One of Hollywood’s top motion picture advertising companies, Craig Murray Productions, has also purchased several Synergy HD&trade storage systems. Stuart Boone, Vice President of Operations for Craig Murray Productions, said, “By using Archion, we were pleased to find affordable storage with the performance and compatibility required for our Avid Unity server.”
And Archion has also sold a Synergy HD&trade system to BSF Film, based in Santa Monica, CA. Alexander Buono, producer of BSF Film, said, “With over 1,000 hours of source material, cutting in HD on three Avids&trade, and working with the new P2 format, our feature documentary presented a huge storage challenge. The Synergy HD&trade has performed flawlessly and is the perfect solution to our complex workflow.”
BSF Film (“BIGGER, STRONGER, FASTER,”) is a feature documentary film slated for theatrical release during Summer 2007. The film is being directed by Christopher Bell, with producers Jim Czarnecki, Alexander Buono and Tamsin Rawady.
