Archions Synergy Hd Products Wins The Broadcast Engineering Magazine 2007 Pick Hit Award

Las Vegas, NV, April 19th, 2007 – At the NAB show in Las Vegas, Broadcast Engineering Magazine bestowed the 2007 Pick Hit Award to Archion’s Synergy HD product. The award is in recognition of the innovative technology developed and shown at NAB. This award is also the industry’s longest-running new product technology awards, now celebrating its 23rd anniversary.

Who are the Judges?

The judges are readers of Broadcast Engineering magazine. They are working professionals in the broadcast, post, and network and satellite industries. To protect the integrity of the awards, the judges remain anonymous throughout the judging process. Broadcast Engineering’s editors and publishers DO NOT select the products and technology.

What products are eligible?

  • Only television products are eligible. No radio specific products are accepted.
  • Products must be new and not shown at a previous NAB convention.
  • Products must have some positive impact on the intended user’s everyday work.
  • Products must offer substantial improvement over previous technology.
  • The product’s price must be within the reach of the intended users.
  • Product technology demonstrations qualify for consideration, provided that the demonstration represents a planned product release, and provided that he demonstration is sufficiently complete so that the end product or solution is clearly evident to the attendee.

How long have the awards been running?

The Broadcast Engineering Pick Hit awards are the longest-running and most prestigious awards given at NAB. With a 23-year history, the award has become the most coveted technology award at the NAB show.

Will there be and special publicity for the awards?

A special article on the NAB2007 Pick Hit winners will appear in the June issue of Broadcast Engineering magazine
